Bryansk Machine Building Plant (BMZ) builds two diesels for Vyborg shipyard
10.11.2003 16:19

BMZ has signed the contract and already started building two DB57 diesels for Vyborg shipyard. Later the diesels will be mantled on the two tankers for Kazmortransflot (Kazakhstan sea transport fleet), to be build in Vyborg. Earlier BMZ built one DB57 engine for another customer, so no manufacturing problems are expected. The only problem is the short delivery terms. The first engine is to be delivered by May, 20, the second - in two months after that. According to the BMZ there will be more orders for DB57, as Vyborg shipyard plans to build a series of ships with this engine.
