Nizhegorodsky Teplohod resumes making floating cranes

According to the press release of the company first it plans to make fully rotated cranes with the capacity 5-16 tons. The bigger part of the cranes with the carrying capacity from 5 to 16 tons (projects 1451, 2222, 2251, 454, 528, 721, 81040, 81050, etc.) for the Russian rivers were made by the company. In total since 1957 it made 1 589 floating cranes. The last crane of the project 81040 was made in 2002. The new 16 tons crane will be based on the technologies of the firm Liebherr. In July Russian company spent 500 000 EUR on buying German equipment.
