25.09.2007 13:02
Acting First Vice-Premier Sergey Ivanov has set the task to develop a special program under which the defense enterprises would make goods and develop technologies for the oil and gas industry. This is probably the main result of the past meeting of the MICom. The point is that TEK has money and MIC can make with the former needs. However, the first stage would determining the needs of the TEK in the new equipment.
Ivanov considers that using the potential of the defense branch will help solving the basic problems of the fuel and energy complex (TEK): high degree (about 50 percents) of the assets’ depreciation, mismatch to the world’s technological level, necessity to increase the degree of processing the resources. Development of the perspective and breakthrough technologies, manufacturing highly effective innovative import-replacing equipment for searching, extracting and transporting hydro-carbonic raw materials are the priority purposes of diversifying MIC, said Ivanov. All above was discussed in the context of the private-state partnership.
