Russian shipbuilders have to hire foreigners

Today the shipbuilding has the leading role in the social and economic development of the Astrakhan region. Large foreign orders and increase of the production volumes proves that shipbuilding awaits bigger growth. But even with the growing wages shipbuilding suffers from the shortage of the qualified staff. To solve this problem so-called laboratories on the basis of the shipbuilding enterprises were created to provide practice for the students. Some students are trained abroad. However, according to the local administration because of the shortage of the qualified personnel it is necessary to attract foreign experts.
